Having lived for centuries in the Diaspora, Jews educated most diverse culture, which now constitutes the vividness of Israel. See how this cultural phenomenon and social will be shown in the program this year JCF. Open from June 25 to July 3 to Kazimierz.

Festival music program will begin shortly after the Sabbath on Saturday, June 25: Discussion club will play two DJs from Israel Khen Elmaleh and David Pearl. This will also be the beginning of a series of events at the 26th DJskich JCF, which will end next Tederowym Weekender on the Boat.

The main stage music festival will, as always, Tempel Synagogue. Sunday will be marked by cantorial: noon occurs Benzion Miller (USA), and during the evening Concert of Cantors "By the rivers of Babylon" will join him, Yaakov Lemmer (USA), Avraham Kirshenbaum (USA), The Choir of the Great Synagogue in Jerusalem, under the direction of Elli Jaffe and Krakow ... the best chamber orchestra - Sinfonietta Cracovia.

Classic and avant-garde music Ashkenazi and Sephardic - as every year, will be interspersed in the Tempel Synagogue. Although sometimes difficult to classify concerts by these categories - so for example with the team Kronos Quartet (USA), who, together with David Krakauer (USA) will perform works by Osvaldo Golijov, Steve Reich, as well as Alfred Schnittke and Yotam Haber. Other projects also elude unambiguous division of The Glass House Orchestra (USA / HU) - Frank London is a project that combines klezmer music of the Roma from Hungary; Daniel Kahn, Michael Alpert, Jake Shulman-Ment, Hampus Merlin and Bob Cohen, or The Brothers Nazaroff (US / DE) bring back to life the traditional songs of Yiddish (like Leopold Kozlowski), but combine them with many other music genres - Diwan Saz (IL), which again will be hosted at the Tempel synagogue on JCF - combines not only styles, but also culture: Jewish, Muslim and Christian, which will be represented by soloists: Lubna Salameh, Mohammed Gadir and David Menachem.

However, the most unexpected and devastating power connection will be a concert Seldy - the legend of the Turkish and Israeli female rock supergroup Boom Pam. Sound, which nobody expected.

Scene Cheder will traditionally belonged to the younger generation: pre-war love songs in Yiddish sing on it Ola Bilińska (PL) and his team, and Israeli electronic scene will be represented by a trio Totemo from Tel Aviv.

On the club stage in Alchemia addition to the traditional nightly jam sessions will also Uri Brauner Kinrot with his project Ouzo Bazooka (IL).

For lovers of music and dance we also have an unusual proposal. After years of absence in Krakow, returns to the festival cult contemporary dance Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company (IL) - with his performance "Lullaby for Bach" choreographed by Rami Baara.

In addition to concerts, the music program 26. JCF will also drama featuring the music of the Diaspora (Edwin Serrousi, Noa Argov), as well as a series of music workshops, which are presented below.

Traditionally, the culmination of the festival will be the legendary concert "Shalom on Szeroka." On this 7-hour presentation of Jewish music from around the world are welcome on Saturday, July 2 from 18.00.
Similarly, as in previous years, the concerts held in the Tempel Synagogue and a concert Shalom on Szeroka will be able to watch live on the Internet.
